Luisa Bellitto, 1st violin

Luisa Bellitto, I violin, started studying violin at the Conservatorio “G.Verdi” in Milan in M° Felice Cusano’s class and then with Prof. Giovanna Polacco, and she graduated in 2000.

Then she studied with Mariana Sirbu, Pavel Vernikov, Oleksander Semchuk and Igor Volochine at “Scuola di Musica” in Fiesole and at “Accademia Santa Cecilia”in Portogruaro, again with M°Cusano, and with M°Giuliano Carmignola at “Accademia Chigiana”in Siena, where she obtained scholarships and  “Diploma di  Merito”.

She attended chamber music courses with “Trio di Milano” and “Trio di Parma”, and master classes with Franco Rossi, Karl Leister, Pier Narciso Masi, Massimo Quarta and Bruno Canino.

She was the concertmaster of M°Riccardo Muti’s “Luigi Cherubini” Youth Orchestra from 2005 to 2008.

She worked in many orchestras, like “Orchestra della RAI” in Torino, Milano Classica, Filarmonica “Toscanini”by Lorin Maazel, Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana, Orchestra Filarmonica della Scala in Milan, Cameristi della Scala, Orchestra Regionale dell’Emilia Romagna.

She was the first of second violins and assistant concertmaster in Teatro Regio in Parma.

She is a member of the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, where Mehta is the principal conductor.

She performed in chamber music  in Conservatorio “G.Verdi” in Milan, for the “Ravenna Festival” the “Ravello Festival”, the “Dubrovnik Summer Festival  and “Verdi Festival” in Parma; at the “Teatro Municipale” in Piacenza, the “Teatro Ponchielli” of Cremona, the “Teatro Sociale” of Lecco for the FAI, and the “Teatro Regio” in Parma.
